The painting depicts a night scene with a Deep amethyst sky filled with white stars and a purple crescent moon. The mid-ground of the piece depicts a minimalistic landscape featuring a hill dotted with green cactus and yellow ridges of sand. genuine snake skin is used at the bottom of the piece and represents a darker strip of rough ground in shades of brown, black and white. The entire piece has been treated with multiple coats of clear polyurethane sealant.
